Babies
Babies au naturel
attracted you, I could tell
they never lacked your attention
caused many an erection
This illness has taken its toll
my boobs in doctor's control
they suggest I lose both
slice cancer at its throat
Will you still want me dear?
its one of my biggest fears
I know it's to save my life
but will you still fancy your wife?

Susan, what a powerful gritty and honest exposure of the vulnerability and emotions that may linger long after the battle is fought and won. My close cousin, as well as two aunts have had the double mastectomy and so this hits home for me!
