Back in those days 💙

I stroll along this sandy shore so steeped in history

I imagine a bloody battle scenario right infront of me

Marauding Men shouting so angrily

Yon hungry, hairy Vikings as wild as can be..
                                  ~
This English castle was there absolute delight

These wildebeests had sailed from Norway overnight

And they were all psyched up just ready for a fight

To rape, steal and plunder everything in sight..
                                  ~
So this sandy scenery was a sensational story waiting to be told

Back in those days when heroic warriors were bold

Nowadays that fantastic fortress stands looking pure twenty four carat gold

With its ancient, weatherbeaten, marvellous, majestic stronghold...
