Baggie Soldier

Fit as a bee for battle
High ranked, and marching his beat
Packed, ready as a beetle
Prepared to eat beech and beet

His leanness from lose of beef
There's no telling where he's been
Charter, the Country's behalf
Whispered freedom he might bring

Regardless of what befall
Men in battle hear one call
That to arms and then befit
Fixed in him from a cadet

Life makes men look like beggars
War can treat them like traders
Either side err fight begins
All look alike as death befriends

Only after the last blast
And them for whom it befalls
Uniforms become baggie
To the crowd they are begrudged

Regardless of what befall
Men in battle hear one call
That to arms and then befit
Fixed in him from a cadet

Cheers of the crowd beholden
Businessmen belittling
Beware the soldier baggie
Allow the trumpet billows
