Here in gulag gray
enemies of the state
get harsh mind control treatment
every day

The hard guards
in control
seek to break
prisoner bodies and souls
with creative tortures
of their own devices

Never underestimate
the cruelty 
man can dispense
on his fellow man

Inhumanity so easily rationalized away

War is Hell after all
and the desired ends
justify the bloody means

"Better them than us"
cry the America First
snarling super patriots

Invoking the age old ignorance
while the cycle
of rationalized violence
rolls on and on

Maybe tis really
our hemorrhaging values 
strapped to the torture table
as we devolve
into the oppressive ideology
