Battle Flower Field

Yes we admit there was darkness
Uncertainty filled us with sadness
Wind blew us in all directions
Seems like we're the greatest rejection
A time came when we hit soil
Surrounded by death and spoil
But as the rain came
And the sun shine
We became rooted
Flourishing and more established
Filling the fields with tremendous colors
Bringing all sorts of life of great splendor
On both sides of the field
Our presence brought good yield
Two opposing parties ashamed
For this place, destruction was planned
Lines were to be drawn to take life
Decisions executed to create strive
This land was barren
So for this message it was chosen
Productivity comes with creativity
Diversity isn't enmity
Different suggestions leads to progression
Good sacrifice helps pay the price
Calling it a truce
They decided to look for a better choice.
They remembered the ugliness of battle field
And appreciated the Miracle of the battle flower field

My Dear Cleo,
.
Instead of animosity
The flowers grow each day
Instead of with their precious lives
For Tulip bulbs they pay
.
Instead of filled with sadness
Their hearts are full of glee
For "The Miracle Of The Battlefield"
Replaced gravestones with birds and bees
.
Hugs, Peace and Love,

Hi Larry, lovely lines, thanks a lot. Lots of love and hugs.
Love your poem. Yes, where I live I take walks through trails with tall grasses and what some would call weeds, but if you look closely, there are little flowers on those weeds that are tiny and so uniquely designed. It would be so much better if we could have fields of flowers instead instead of destruction. Very expressive poem.
