Be Thankful

     I didn’t want to write tonight 
I have a lot of good ideas 
That I just keep to myself 
I just didn’t feel like writing 
     I did not want to grab that paper and pen
and have to write anything 
I just like to lay here in prayer 
     I didn’t want to write tonite 
Moses didn’t wander all his
life
because he loved the desert 
     So I grabbed my pen and my paper 
and I wrote you a song that I’ll always remember 
Be thankful for 
everything
