BEACH TIME

I'll see you later...

Sparrowsong where are you going?

It's 10 below Zero...

Oh it's getting warmer already?

Heatwave!

Sparrowsong has anyone told you lately you're nuts?

Umm...

No...

It's been at least a week...

I think...

Where are you going?

The Beach of course...

Sparrowsong...

Doesn't everyone go to the Beach?

Not in the Winter...

Exactly...

Miles and Miles of Beach all to myself...

To sit...

To think...

You're going to freeze to death...

I'm not trying to be a Polar Bear...

I'm not going swimming...

It's snowing...

Thank you for the update...

Teenage Memories...

Hello Baker Street...

It was a different America back then...

You couldn't be a teenager and do it now...

My Teenage years were good...

I could enjoy a Day off from work and school...

Every other weekend my Bestie and I would meet down in Hyannis, Cape Cod on a Friday night and come back on Sunday to get ready for work on Monday...

I had my own apartment at 18 years old...

I paid $100 a week plus utilities...

Which was $100 more per month than I paid for Room and Board at home without freedom...

It was a 2 bedroom apartment...

If Monday was a Holiday...

We were definitely Martha's Vineyard bound...

It was good times...

Apparently, it's filled with a different kind of people now...

I moved out of State in good time which I didn't know then...

It was a very different Democrat Party back then...

I wouldn't want to imagine the cost of living there now...

A used car cost about $500...

You know it would last 3 years...

You'd sell it for $500 and buy another one for $500 and drive it for 3 years...

Not everyone did that but, I didn't want a car payment to try and be like oh look at what I have...

I didn't like bills...

I still don't...

People want to live and pay $5,000 or more per month to live in a house and drive...

They can have all that...

I wouldn't trade that time for anything...

We didn't have the problems that children and parents have today...

We didn't have all the mental health issues...

We were kids enjoying life...

We knew work all week and weekend reward...

We were good making $6.50 an hour...

Our parents thought we were rich...

Other kids thought we came from well to do folks...

I thought it was hilarious...

We had ambition...

We didn't want to just work and no play...

That wasn't us...

That's for sure...

A lot of times I would just drive until I got tired...

Woke up in the morning with the sunrise and WOW cool landing...

You can't see things in the dark...

Find a morning breakfast and coffee and check out the town...

I did that a lot...

Head home in the afternoon...

Friends would be coming over that night...

It was great times...

Thank you for your kind comment and support...
