Beautiful creature

Beautiful creature

I am the beast I will not intrude,
Matted, tattered, frayed and crude,
Chipped, flawed, cracked and skewed,
My gold just goes blue,
Knotted, foul, filthy, polluted and rude,
No wonder she's a beauty,
When I am this brood,
My gold just to chew,
Smashing, stunning such a sight to be viewed,
Leaving me subdued,
Her gold is some other dude,
My gold just won't do,

Aesthetic, elegant, pleasantly glued,
Royal fresh color imbued,
Princess I allude,
My gold just lost hue,
Rugged, wretched, rough, myself I seclude,
This vile monster in the nude,
I need be renewed,
My gold just ain't true,
Batted, bonkers, I've become crazed for food,
Too long I'll carry this feud,
Too long I've pursued,
My gold just withdrew,

How can one be such a beauty and the other a beast,
