Poem -

Beautiful Crisis

I saw her with the wind in her face.
As she gripped the end of that cliff.
She held on so tight, but she didn't mind when that suicidal hate let her slip to her fate.
She didn't scream or flail.
All she did was smile.
I tried to reach for her.
I tried to understand.
I must have cried a river for my dear friend.
It wasn't I who could have saved her.
It wasn't me who could have helped.
She wanted it so badly that she jumped for herself.
I wish I knew why.
Or maybe I do?
She always talked about how bad she wanted to be through.
To get rid of the pain, and to clear her head.
I just dont know why she would wish herself dead.
I tried to save her.
I really did, but you can't save someone who calls themselves dead.
