Poem -
A beautiful rising moon....
Don't hate me.....goes through her tiny mind when she goes to speak that look you give
Freezes' her
now her world is bleak
You have no right YOU KNOW
To rip her world apart
Leaving her dreaming....
Wishing....
For a colorful world
While standing in the dark
The stars are in her eye's
Her heart
A beautiful rising moon
Not surprising you still control.....
One day her resentment will take it's toll
She will be free from the horrors of it all
YOU yes YOU
Shall finally take the fall....
When she wishes upon the darkened sky....
Not to know you at all.

Wow nardine, that got my heart pumping faster with fear at the end; dreading the thought that my own daughter could ever see me in that light...the tone is edgy powerful in this write, but most of all it sounds real and comes off the page like a 3D cold hard fact...well writen sis. ode to no holding back...gripping and memorable poem...def. a keeper
