TAILWIND

TAIL WIND
A wild wind blows westward;
She turned her face eastward;
A hand approached to lift her upward
For the wind crowds her nostrils
Outside the windows of the dead;
The heat floated across her face;
There is a smell of burned flesh,
So sweet, beautiful, and bountiful,
I should breathe and rejoice now!
