Beauty, An Endless Sea..
In my Love of beauty
The endless sea
Beckons me
And drenches my heart
In Love's vastness
This sea is yours and mine
Like the feathers
Scattered
By beauty in the sea's wind
For oft
When I lay in green fields
The breeze
Speaks
To my soul
And a gentle
Descending feather
From across the seasons
Of my life
Tickles my Love of beauty
Through memories
Of original taste and smell
The childlike
Wonder
In touching things
Recognizing objects
And
Irrevocable
Is my Love of beauty in its holy state
Where things
So alive
Can never die
And beauty
An
Endless
Sea...

I love these lines, I can see a feather drifting down and tickling me on the nose and reminding me of all the times my parents Eskimo kissed me and it made me giggle cause it tickled. This is such a beautiful write. Beauty is always endless. Memories may fade and time may go on but we always remember the beauty in people, life, and all the other small sometimes seemingly unimportant things. Which is what I pull from these lines.Β
I may or may not have printed this out and pulled it apart piece by piece like I used to in school! Lovely write, pinned, all stars, AND liked!! :)

My Dear Brother Poet Tony,
Few people realize that when you walk by the sea, you are making footprints on the edge of a continent.
How many stop, to inhale it's intoxicating aromas, and let the pure salted air take them to far away places?
How many believe that the sea is where life began, and we are all the progeny of it's magnificence?
How many realize that it is "beauty in it's holiest state", and it will live until the ends of time?
