Beauty of the Sea

She sat in silence
On her sandy back porch by the sea
Watching waves crash and birds fly
The smell of salt engraved in her skin
She sat all day
Watching the sun role through the sky
As darkness set so did the wind
Cold filled her core
She stayed seated
No movement startled her
No cold made her shiver
Nothing got between her and the sea
The cast of the moon shined on her face
Making her grey eyes sparkle
And her wrinkles disappear
She moved only on this night
Where her beauty out shined the sea
When her hair fell as perfectly as the sun
She enters the sea
The water forming her path
It covers behind her
She would be gone til' morning
When she is no longer beautiful
She would sit back in her seat and wait
