Poem -

Before an army marches

We sit behind the screens
with all our pitiful hopes and dreams
and bleached minds before crippled eyes
out of which we see only evil.

We see torture
We see war
We see the rich
We see the poor

We see the cracks,
we see the arches
and hope to die before
an army marches.
