Poem -

Beggars belief!

Beggars belief!

Dirty finger nails
Living life begging
I still hope and pray
I've been promised heaven
I see families lovingly waving
While I lay out my newspapers
Time will change
I'm not afraid
Under skies of grey
The cross is my faith
The ink of daily news runs dry
But still I see light in my dark times

What a relief, I've got beggars belief!

Hi Wayne , I like this one as it reminds me of Jethro Tull album Aqualung. Worth a listen if you haven't already heard it. Great write

HI Wayne...I cannot stand to watch the news or read it in the papers...It depresses me so much to see how the world is portrayed.....I cling to my faith too...knowing God is in control and it is humbling to have that beggars belief...puts things into perspective...Enjoyed the message. xo Cherie

I think it's so important to keep that faith too, I know I believe in something because I feel it, but not sure what yet Cherie, time will tell I suppose, then I'll believe my purpose, I think anyway, there's many questions that come with feeling something, I think sometimes I should just let things be rather than trying to figure them out, I don't know, sorry for the rambling haha
thanks for your wonderful comment 😊💓
