Beginning of an end

Mistakes and regrets are inseparable,
Even if it's as small as a pebble,
A ripple is still made,
As it will slowly fade,
Things just won't be the same,
As the rules have changed in the game,
Things are usually not what they seem,
They're as blurry as a dream,
The bigger picture is seen,
And the beginning of an end I have finally been.
