Poem -

Behind & Longing

β€œI'm mad for being the one folks neglect.
I tried to make friends, but it isn't easy.
Will I have gathered courage? I expect
talking to strangers makes me uneasy.
When not knowing what to do, I retreat.
I avoid giving up yet it's chronic.
Will I meet a person who won't deceit?
That is not romantic but platonic?
Our trust must always be gained and maintained.
We can confine our secrets between us.
You and I can always dance unrestrained.
Being ourselves without having to fuss.
One day, we will meet don't know when don't where,
but I know we meet; we’ll be quite the pair.”

The fish of the sea

Awww Andrea, being an extreme introvert (and having no friends lol) I can really make a personal connection to this poem.Β  Your technique also allowed it to be really engaging and interesting to the reader. I like it a lot. All the Best. The Fish of the Sea.
