Don't be fooled by the mask that I wear,
Throughout my journey I wear many masks,
Masks I've become afraid to live without,
I reveal only what I'm comfortable with,
Whilst keeping safe the naked heart of me,
Yet all of these masks have become me,
Pretense an art form I have mastered so well,
Don't be fooled by my boldness,
Look past the surface to the emotions within,
To the lonely soul that weeps in silent pain,
A boundless well of passion waiting to be tapped,
Loves flame flickers patiently from within the abyss
 Emotions waiting to devour the gentle breeze of reason,
All of this I keep for you... Behind the mask...
