"BEHIND THE ECLIPSE"
Hiding in plain sight
I'd honestly (always)
longed to step out from
behind the sun,
to reveal myself
to myself,
(in orbit)
around quixotic ideas
and years
of aimless creativity
left behind me in a trail of glistening
breadcrumbs
that led me back
(to the music), to the poetry of me,
of me and my life, as I began to
follow those tiny pieces
and work at
collaging
them back together
again...
I started to learn myself
(and slowly began)
to appreciate what I had done
even though
I hadn't done it
purposely
I had (really) become
that which I had been
frightened
of becoming..
an artist, with forgotten words
strewn across the fabric
of a very long
effort,
and now I see myself
emerging
from beneath the sea
(behind the sun)...
fist, drenched
bursting from beneath
the surface of
blue water
(the eclipse of my life)
that heavy tattoo, that I
have painted,
on my left shoulder...
I've carried it
for eons
a burden that I would
bare again
if not for
the sun
and the moon's
magical kiss
(which I sadly missed)
while wholeheartedly hiding

When one wants to look no further for inspiration a great stopping point lies here. This is a spectacularly inspiring write my friend, it made me think of how I go back over my old writes and forget what was created from me that evolves that are pieces of me to the whole and iam rambling lol and that is what I can interpret hopefully you understand and maybe I still don't fully.
