" BEHIND THE ECLIPSE.."
I'd always, (always)
Longed to step out from
Behind the sun,
To reveal myself
To myself,
(in orbit)
Around quixotic ideas
And years
Of creativity
Left behind me, in a trail
Of glistening bread crumbs
That led me back
(to the music), to the poetry of me,
Of me and my life, as I began to
Pick up the tiny pieces,
And work at
Collaging them back
Together again...
I started to learn myself
(and began)
To appreciate what I had done
Even though
I hadn't done it
Purposely,
I had (really) become
That which I had been
Frightened of becoming...
An artist, with forgotten words
Strewn across the fabric
Of a very long
Effort,
And now I see myself
Emerging,
From beneath the sea
(behind the sun)...
Fist, clenched,
Bursting from beneath
The surface of
The water
(the eclipse of my life)
That heavy tattoo, that I
Have painted
On my left shoulder,
I've carried it for
Eons,
A burden that I would
Bare again
If not for,
The sun
And the moon's
Magical kiss,
(which I sadly missed)
While hiding,
Behind the eclipse....

Hey t . I think everyone can relate to this write. I feel some parts of my life have been caught behind an eclipse with no relief inside but God has always been watching over me and I am eternally grateful for Him . Hugs to you rock

Today I'm going to log out with the reading of this poem by Tony Taylor, a poem that speaks of life, of love and an eclipse which hides a magical kiss.
A poem that both its structure and its content is simply perfect and at the height of the great poets of all time.
A hug for all the tabs I close on the keyboard of the computer, I need to rest so my analytical mind tomorrow back to work, until then a magical overflowing virtual hug of such I send from my faraway vantage point for all creators, poets and poetess from COSMOFUNNEL.
