Being famous

Why do we want to be famous
You know the answer
To be accepted
To be the one who everyone looks up too
Why do we have this need
Maybe deep down we want to be the one
With original ideas
The one who they say
I want to be just like you

You want to be them
To feel what they feel
No one wants to be themselves
Not even famous people
Could you really sit there and say
They are perfect
If you were famous
Would you be perfect
Being famous is complicated
Only the famous understand
Something we will never understand
