Being Me

Don’t I love living alone
don’t expect to read that in a poem
yet here it is
   Don’t I love being me
I don’t expect to be anything differently
I just love my grandkids
   Don’t I love living alone
no one is ever home
it’s only me
   Don’t I love being free
you better believe it absolutely
I love being me
