Being Thankful again

Being Thankful again

mI think I have taken things for granted

And everything around me seems tinted

The sight, taste and feel of things is so low

I want to move with the tides of life but so many things make me so slow

Is as bad as not feeling the cold sweet breeze in an open field on a windy day

Is as sad as being blind to colors missing the bright glorious rainbow on a rainy day

Flowers and fountains don't put pleasures of scents and awe to make one feel light

Waters and mountains don't seem to purify or help one seem on higher height

It's like having plenty and till feeling empty

I want to be thankful again,

I want to feel that contempt that put a smile naturally on my face

I Want to be thankful again

Regardless of what life brings I'd let love, gratitude, joy and sensibility always have its place

Maybe I had to walk this cold dark sad challenging road all to be reminded of what it means to be thankful again.

This was really good Cleo, love the ending we do need to see the bad so we can be thankful for the good in life. Thanks for embracing my topic I appreciate that and well done my Love and Respect.
