Beirut, Lebanon there was an almighty explosion today
Loss of life and thousands injured I'm sorry to say
One witness said it was just like a nuclear bomb attack
No doubt carried out by a lunatic or a maniac

The survivors of this attack were left dazed and confused 
Blood from their bodies and feeling very bruised 
Cars were overturned and there was smoke everywhere 
How in the world is this considered right and fair ?

The world is certainly not in a good place right now 
It needs to get better quickly but I don't know how
So before you go to bed say a prayer to the Lebanonese 
Let's all put an end to this awful killing disease
