Poem -

Beneath my bed.

Have i gained enough light
To sit within the darkness

And be that not afraid child
Who's mind often
Commands such fright

Nothing but the depths of creation
Within my blinded sight

Something in the moments
Of silence
Causes my body unease

Chanting within my head
To banish such displease

Have i gained enough light
To sit within the darkness

Listening to the echo
inside of my soul

To be that not afraid girl
Unafraid to fall
At all

Maybe a candle luminary
Can guide
me through the night

Once the shadows fade
Bringing forth
The morning light

Listening to the silence
Echoing inside my head

Shall never feed
The demons reeking havoc
Beneath my bed

Shall gather
Much more light
To comfort through the night

Upon awakening fresh
To the mornings
Natural sight.
