Beneath the nightingale

Beneath the nightingale song
Whistling in the breeze
Wept a heart of gold
In a silent lonely plead
Only centimetre's tall
A fragile soul was she
Echoing the heartache
She bleed's
Such big tears of sorrow
fallen upon the forest floor
Fractured wing's
Could fly no more
Her eyes they cried
To wash loneliness away
The song of the nightingale
shall forever be heard today
Echoing her heartache
Within the air
The song of a broken heart
Bleeding away despair.
