BEST FRIEND (DIFFERENT COLOUR)

My best friend is a different colour to me
Doesn't make any difference as far as I can see
He likes to do the things I do
I wouldn't care if he was red or blue

My best friend is a different colour to me
Why then can he not be treated equally
We are living in the 21st century for goodness sake
Surely racial hatred should be considered a big mistake

My best friend is a different colour to me
Why I wonder can't the world live in harmony
A man should not be judged by the colour of his skin
Instead let's all aim for a peaceful world to begin
