Bestowing Dreams

When the best of this life was unknown to me,

You brought into focus all that I needed to see !

You taught me how souls were lost in each other,

Making clear what it means to share love forever.

Knowing how sacred it is for two to become one,

You understood all the treasures that could come,

By allowing hearts to be freely exposed and open.

You accepted what we have was meant to happen.

Now, I've realized all this glorious world can give !

Now, I fully appreciate there's a better way to live.

I was on my own complaining there wasn't enough,

Until you arrived to bestow what I had dreamt of !
