Poem -

Better the Devil you know

I've faced all the penalties that I deserved, Tried all the remedies they never worked.

Lived life so sensibly sent me berserk, Destinies tempting me restlessly flirts.

The agony tragically comes back for more, Attacking my sanity can't lose much more.

This fallacy fantasy life is obscure, I don't know if I can take this much more.

So I'm trying to find a way, To relieve my life from strain.

To find a heart that cannot break, A brain that does not register pain.

I guess I'm just wishing for, A world that's much sweeter that I can adore.

It's time to face up to reality, Look at life as comedy instead of tragedy.

It's better the devil you know.

Regretful gets stressful if you never chose.

This devil is vengeful he's dreadful you know.

His weapons are special for wrecking your soul.

But the angel feels painful if you don't do right.

It's fatal but he's faithful you will step into the light.

If it's tasteful or shameful he's always at your side.

Is it wrong is it right is it too much to decide. I've taken no oath made no promise to the sky, Live by no code they dissolve over time.

Which made me so cold and alone half the time, Life's like a road it corrodes over time.

My minds like a light that shines bright through the night, Provides an insight to my nocturnal life.

Writing my rhymes like a journal or a guide, Only so that I can make sense of my life.

So I'm trying to find a way, To relieve my life from strain.

To find a pen that cannot break, An ink that does not leave recurring stains.

I guess I'm just wishing for, a beautiful world that I can adore.

It's time to face up to reality, look at life amicably instead of callously.

It's better the devil you know...
