Between love and loss

Between love and loss.

If I had a diary I'd rip out the pages between love and loss. Some things just devalue and accumulated mess we toss. Had I given my pens a long life, scribbling the does and don'ts on the walls while screaming,  it always feels like I'm dreaming.  Yet waking has become a habitual use,  too smoke cigarettes in the night,  write songs of broken parts I cannot contain,  and we'll the point of a well kept dairy is to remain, and I'm leaving sorrows behind,  so I just scrub those walls, as if to also scrub the mind. In some forms it's scibed and etched nowadays on the fingertips of the great art, and to release the pain beneath each nail, is the finest part.
