Poem -

Beware of the Boogeyman

Beware of the Boogeyman

Beware of the Boogeyman amidst the darkness of the night
He will frighten the daylights out of anyone who comes within his sight
You won’t see his eyes tho he can always see you
His silence is so scarey with not a step from his shoe
Yet you will be caught by surprise with his big body on a wall
looking gigantic and ghastly tall

There is no escaping this ghosty ghoul
He watches your every move
this Boogeyman is no fool
As soon as light fades he hunts you out
It doesn’t matter if you try to hide
he knows where you are without a doubt
He is the reason to be wary of the dark
Have you ever wondered why a dog will bark as it will stand all alone looking into thin air
Dogs have sixth sense they know the Boogeyman is there

That beastly Boogeyman can run as fast as you
you may think you’ve lost him but he will turn up out of the blue
His sight is enough to shock even the tallest of people
As he will stand right infront of them as big as a steeple
The Boogeyman is brutal as he loves the moonlight
He will hunt you out with exquisite eyesight
I saw him only last night I was stood by a lamp post
He almost gave me a heart attack that Boogeyman ghost
