Beyond Dreams

I stay up last night dreaming about how I’m gonna make it,

Definite destination determined before my Maker.

You don’t get that many chances so this one I’m taking

God said ask seek and knock, I m just patiently waiting.

For my moment, for my time, this is my season,

Make atonement, on my grind, family is the reason,

That I’ma shake the bull, be brave and breathe again.

I came too far to lose, I’m gonna win!

I feel like most hated, but the love brought me in.

The hardest gem times ten; this ain’t about the Ben’s

But I want that Benz, with the shinny rims;

Just don’t want to miss the mark, sin make light dim.

Wrestling with my choices try’na use my best sense,

But sometimes life curve balls just don’t make sense.

Running around looking for clues but only get hints,

Going from a cell to a white picket fence!!!
