Beyond the grave

Beyond the grave

Death is inescapable, all are

destined to live and die.

From dust we came, dust we

will return.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

All have birthdays, all will

have a funeral.

Given the last rites, placed in

a coffin and buried in the ground.

In the grave we will enjoy silence,

peace and rest.

Bodies will decompose, haveĀ a

bad stink, worms and maggotsĀ

will devour theĀ Ā lifeless body.

Through the death of JesusĀ we

haveĀ overcome the sting of death.

We have victory over death, beyond

the grave there is eternal life.

Be glad the grave is not our eternal

home, a place of darkness and silence.

Celebrate in death, rejoice in death.

We will have a new life, a new body.

We will be transfigured into our new

heavenly bodies,be exchanged into an

immoral being never to die again.

We will be beautiful souls that willĀ

live forever.
