Poem -

beyond the shadow of doubt.

I try to silence them
By keeping busy
Running around in circles
getting pretty dizzy,

they follow me around
you know
Everywhere I go,

Just not good enough
They love to tell me so,

In moments of silence
When I am at my worst

It's there
they are at their best
Judging me for every failure
Never truly passing the test

I must be good at something
I'm just not sure what
that truly is

These shadow doubts before me
are they mine or are they his.
