BIG BUSINESS

He sat looking imposing on his long tall chair
How I wish sometimes that he wasn't sitting there
For he is not a people person is our company director
Our company is one of the largest in the private sector

I approached the company director with caution for sure
My hands shook and trembled as I knocked on his door
I stood and patiently explained to him my demand
Did it in such a way that he would understand

When he shook his head and answered me no
Out of his door I went as fast as I could possibly go
Big business is all about decisions that you make
Some will be right and others a huge mistake
