THE BIG DAY

First day you set your eyes on me
Second day you did the same
I tried to run, as running from the unknown
Being afraid, confused and not knowing what to do.
I went down on my knees and the Lord confirmed

Running to and from preparing for the day!
I guess I am satisfied with the arrangements, what a fun!
Suddenly here we are standing at the Altar to exchange our vows
Friends and family are all present,
To witness the special moment of their daughter, their sister, niece etc.

Here we are having our special show room in front of many
One two steps on a dance floor, wow where’s my shyness
I guess this is how the shyness hits the road!
The wedding celebration fades,
As the sun slowly close in the midst of clouds

Guess what, I AM NO LONGER SINGLE!
It is now the end of me and the beginning of us!
My life has opened a new chapter
What a blessed loving day!
What a big day!
