Billy no mates

Billy no mates

I’m Billy no mates all on my own
sat playing solitaire on my phone
but I have to isolate and stay alone
Coronavirus is hellish I moan and groan

I stand at my front door and I clap outside as tears roll down my cheeks for the Doctor’s and Nurses with pride
Everyone is applauding them far and wide
Tho nobody will hear me coz I am in the countryside

But that doesn’t matter coz I have to take part as I feel appreciation amidst my heart
The NHS are our heroes in this sad affair so we shout from the rooftops to tell them that we care

" Why laugh, when you can cry. " TEARS, OF JOY. Spirited from the diverse, and, the perverse ?
Does the nature, of place, and being, give to you ? NOW.
I, hope so.
You, need a " lift " ?  To be, more. I, imagine. Friends, will, do for you, all that, which is goodness, as well as right !! Surely.
