Poem -

A Bit Out of Time

There was an old cowboy
Turned old and fray
Tough as nails, once was the day

A bit out of time for modern day
He was more suited for the old cowboy way
A horse and saddle to him was gold
He preferred the ways from long ago

Honest and hardworking, his only way
A bit of a horse trader, just for play
Roping and riding always on his mind
Hunting and fishing when he could find the time

Unimaginable are the days
Growing up any other way
A bit out of time from the modern day
The old cowboy way

To an old cowboy
 For sharing his way
To a boy of modern day
To the best Dad
A boy has ever had

There was an old cowboy
A bit out of time for modern way
He preferred the cowboys day
