Bitter and Twisted

This growing epidemic needs to be resisted
A viral infection that is bitter and twisted
Panicing people they are acting so greedy
Bulk-buying their provisions with none left for the needy
But I can feel their apprehension
whilst I understand such fear as this damning dreadful doom spreads speedily near

We live in a world which relies on each other
Advice from high quarters
A friendly face from a Mother
Each and everyone trying to cope
under difficult circumstances on a slippery slope
Population in the cities is worsely affected as more and more people are easily infected
So they drive in their cars and to the countryside hoping for fresh air with freedom to hide

But country folk are frightened too as they search for necessities like toilet rolls for the loo 
We all need to keep calm and not travel around 
This should help to prevent spreading the Corvid-19 abound
Lets all hope and pray that as fast as this blight has appeared 
It vanishes completed into thin air and is cleared
