Bittersweet symphonies🥲

Bittersweet symphonies🥲

And as a choir of chirping birds sweetly sang symphonies of a melody

Church bells serenaded sounding out a momentous melancholy

Bittersweet was yon sombreness that had struck this little town

Whilst woman and their Mothers daughters wore a woe begotten frown..

Yet those Blackbirds belted out tune and verse

Tho local landowners cried at their happenstance of such a cruel curse

Twas said that an act of God had started that ferocious fire

As sisters and brothers ran for their lives whence yon flames rose higher..

Thirteen tiny Angels are in the arms of the Lord

Accompanying those Blackbirds on a harpsichord

And as they strum and sing “Hallelujah” looking down from the sky

Not a single Mother or Father in that
little town, looks up above with a dry eye…
