‘Bla-arin’ & ‘a-ma-arin’ ?

I sacrificed my soul with a desire to be free
To rid away mundane life & reality
I clambered up a hill whilst it was mighty steep
I revelled in the solitude
There was only me & the sheep
They were ‘bla-arin’ &
a-ma-arin’
Making an awful din
There wasn’t much grass to munch on
So they were probably starvin’, so thin
I felt saddened with compassion
I had my picnic with me
I planned to sit for a while
Eat sandwiches & a cup of tea
Never mind I would pick a spot well away from the sheep
I didn’t want any hassle
Could have a ‘forty-winks’ sleep
Well after ‘Puffin’ & ‘A-pantin’
I had reached the very top
“Heck that was hard work”
I was ready to flop
‘Crikey Moses’ & ‘Glory be up high’
The panaramic view was tremendous, could see from far & nigh
What a heavenly place
Way above the bustle of life
Away from negativity & the City strife
So I’ve made a pledge to my ‘Inner-self’
When I want some peace
Left alone on a shelf
I know where to come coz I’ve done it before
Be at one with ‘Mother nature’
Where no one else does go
