BLACK AND BLUE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE)

How did you get that bruise on your face ?
It's so out of character and so out of place 
Were you attacked by your controlling spouse ?
Was he upset how you looked after the house ?

Did he beat you black and blue and mess with your head ?
So many answers to these questions have to be said 
If you need a friend I will always be here 
You should be allowed to live your life without any fear 

Domestic violence is a despicable and disgusting crime 
So putting an end to this upsetting little rhyme
