Poem -

black child

the seeds of hatred
that is buried between
whites and blacks
why did your skin color
had to be the curse of all blacks
what did you do to deserve the
cruel punishment that white man
shown you
black child
will the sorrow of the past end
will we be able to forgive and forget
the cruelty that white men shown us
will the be peace in our soul
will the nightmare end
black child
in times like these we
forget the seeds of the past
in times like these we forgive
everything and move on
black child
the tears of our past
has brighten our future
the sorrow of our past
has brought peace and joy
black child forgive and move on
