BLACK FRIDAY

Yesterday you're thankful today you're someone quite different...
People rushing for the shelves like starving people getting their meal for a week...
Like little mice running for the trap hidden under the peanut butter...
The stores are excited because instead of imaging you in their underwear they are seeing a wallet on every set of shoulders...
Cha Ching goes the register...
You haul your load home...
You survived Black Friday!
Is there anymore leftovers from the day before?
Complete exhaustion you're ready for bed...
Thankful once again Thanksgiving Day is over...
Hugs...

hey, sparrowsong, super cool write, makes me glad I grew up in Canada, our Thanksgiving was in early October, and it 'feels' like Thanksgiving; without much fanfare, you know 'family' and friends getting together, love it.... but the 'black Friday' thing has caught on big time over here, obviously not as intense as the States but nonetheless it is a 'thing' now....love reading this poem and how well you've 'read' human nature, awesome stuff, cheers poet
Hello Lauren...
I have Thanksgiving Dinner at least 3-4 times a year...
At Christmas I put on at least 10 lbs in that week...
I Love It!
?
Black Friday I'm too full to shop...
Then I'm hungry by Noon!
I don't go to far from the Refrigerator during the Holidays even if I'm visiting family...
Thank you for your fun comment and support!

Hello Christopher...
I think it's neat in the way Countries celebrate different things...
Canada's doing Black Friday?
Save yourselves...
Don't get that crazy...
Don't catch on to everything...
Keep Calm!
Stay in Canada!
