Black roses and bleeding hearts

Black roses and bleeding hearts

She didn't play with other kids Kept to herself well so it seems Smiling away within her dreams No one knew the truth you see She wasn't alone at all Laughing in such a way Birds escaped the trees Bringing pretty butterflies to the stand still upon their knees T'was the voices that made her laugh and smile Though seemly normal pretty child Had the gift of seeing the dead And found shelter within loving them instead Everyone else had no idea The surrounding souls were near If ever you seen her cry Darkness set cross the sky An innocence soul and cherry lips A Trancing walk and deadly hips This tiny buddle of joy Played with the souls of void Happily at her best Never alone aggressed Painting within the garden black roses Bleeding heart's Couldn't find the words to describe the dark Not afraid at all never a fearsome call Tiny girl who has it all Intuition premonition loving the living dead Even the rather gruesome without any head Their insides falling out She places back in Tightens up the buttons underneath her chin Once walking inside Smiled her famous smile No idea what fascinates this child Upon nightfall when time for bed To lay a pillow to fast her head Breeds the torment inside her heart T'was the lanterns that caused her spark Dancing angels afraid of light Her fragile scream's within the night Couldn't stand to the shadows flying Closed her eyes and wished to die Her mother placed them there to shelter her in care Not knowing they caused her friends despair She ripped them down and caused a fire For loving the dead was her desire The house went up in flames As she watched for the garden bed Her parents trapped inside Her weary heart did ache Horrified tears she cried Her parents but now have died You may see the little girl with the frozen smile Far beneath the tree's Laughing singing to the birds dancing within the breeze For her parents are there too No one can see not me not you All her dreams come true Loving the dead around her Her parents finally found her knowing now what amusers her so Black roses and bleeding hearts in her garden now to grow.
