black scarred

Somewhere
today
And let us all weep
A child in a coffin, a dog put to
sleep
A Mamma a grampa, a brother
A friend,
these story's beside us and how
they all end
And black scarred the people by
memories to keep
And black scarred the memories
and
Let us all weep
for
Black scarred the candle that
Nobody lights
for candles, so small,
Cannot banish death's night
And somewhere today, and yes,
Let us all weep
These mourners, black scarred,
with hearts chained
Away creep.

love ur poem
Thankyou Thomas...appreciated x
Beautifully written, doesn't it just feel that way black scarred. Dear Marion, we each have our own journey through grief and as I know something about yours I find this even more incredibly difficult to digest. Your pen has shown the deep dark places we go to. And as always your last lines count so much. 🌹
Bless you Shirley for you beautifully kind comment...hugs x
Hello Marion...
We lost a 10 year old boy who succumbed to being bullied at his School...
I hope there will be accountability...
Amazing to have children and adults with blood on their hands that no amount of soap and water will clean...
We can be in School here a long time...
I want to get this life right...
Just in case I don't want to have chance doing this down here again...
Black scarred can be much too vast...
I'm sorry for your pain...
Thank you for sharing...
sparrowsong
I too don't want to end up back down here
S, fingers crossed...thankyou...hugs x
