Black Tulip

Black Tulip

black tulips
with fat petals
no intense smells
or superfluous frills
Straight to the kill
these midnight bells
no violent Perry Winkle..
or red necked pretty maid
could stealΒ beauty
nor enhance the dead
night's shade.
from black tulips..
I want them at my funeral
