Waiting for the words to form

Wishing you were here to guide me

Point me in the right direction

Push me forward

Give me a reason

To keep letting the words fall

Letting the letters drop

Watch as my thoughts come out

On paper where they will say forever

Never letting go

Always giving me memories

Always making sure I can't forget them

Giving me something to stare at

Making sure I can't lose them

Giving me a reason to keep fighting

Pushing me forward

Keeping me safe

Protecting me from the unkind world
