Bleeding The Universe
The awe and humility
Found, in pondering the stars
Beyond the stars,
And the stars ability
To create
Such beautiful dreams
In the minds of the fortunate
Where pessimism does not exist,
Where anything, that is conceivable
Is possible,
Leaves my soul bleeding
With such happy unrest
That even my prayers
Feel,
Insignificant,
For it is in the understanding
Of universal truth
And not, in the minds of men
Where the spirit
Finds the opportunity,
To touch the face
Of God.....
