You look forward to what a festive occasion can give,

Knowing this is when everyone finally begins to live !

The rest of the years problems have to be forgotten.

Streets become packed with raucous playful passion.

Lights and merry songs herald the gifts no one decries,

As anticipation increases for a day filled with surprise !

When unity and laughter are at the forefront of planning,
